Let’s add one condition over here, Your boss comes and tells you that if you complete the task early you can go home. What will be your reaction? Will you delay a moment?
Because here you can see a reward and who doesn’t like it? In the second scenario, your mind knows the outcome of the reward so it won’t hold you back to complete the given task. This reward will motivate you to complete your task as early as possible so that you can go home early.
This is one of the reasons why we feel lazy, either the reward is not appealing to us or the current comfort situation is more pleasing than the reward. The reward game influences our mind to create or overcome laziness. Here are some of the techniques by which you can start working instead of wasting your time.
Laziness in most cases has a reason behind it. What are your reasons, you need to find out. When you feel it, stand back and observe the scenario. When you find out where the problem is, work on eliminating it. Once you know it tries to push yourself a bit and beat feeling by putting a small effort in order to start the given task. This may be initially hard because your mind will hold you back to get out of your comfort. But you have to be firm on your decision and at least give it a try to beat it.
Set Your Goals
Have you found out what you want to achieve in your life? What is your Goal? If you don’t have any, it’s obvious you will feel lazy. For example, you set the goal that you want to be healthy, for that what you need to do? You need to go to Gym, regular exercise, walking, warm-ups, aerobics etc. these task needs much energy, what you can do you can start by starting with simple walking as the first step for that you just have to get some time, that you can find out from your schedule. Once you will start, you can see the initial results. This will motivate you to take upon other tasks like doing exercise, aerobics, and going to the gym.
Starting small and easy will motivate you to work more and ultimately will over laziness.

In this Net Generation, an individual’s lifestyle is often stressed out with excessive usage of screens. Many teenagers and youngsters have a habit of using media gadgets till late at night and are often sleep-deprived. This causes drowsiness for the whole day and demotivates you to work, thus you feel lazy all the time. So to overcome this you need to improve your lifestyle with proper diet and sleep. Regulate your lifestyle with a proper timetable, set limits for each activity, limit your gadget and mobile usage.
While doing a task the unnecessary calls and notifications from social media or other sources, you often get distracted. You feel like just for a second have a look who has pinged you but once you open it when this “second” turn in to minutes and hours is untraceable. So in order to concentrate on your work try to avoid the usage of mobile phones and social media.
In a messy environment, your brain gets cluttered and makes you feel lazy. Keeping your stuff clean and organized, gives your mind positive vibes. This helps you to get attracted to work. Also, Dressing nicely and following good hygiene has a positive impact on your energy level.
Don’t let the fear of failure bother you
